Hello everyone! I'm a just a teenage girl with a love for Jesus, family, chocolate, music, and all things fashion!
I blog about fashionrandom things over at Modestly Styled.
I love researching fashions from the different eras and watching old Hollywood movies, sometimes just for the costumes! :)
Nothing really special happened today except I finally remembered to take pictures of my outfit for a post. 😀
I was looking though my closet wondering what skirt to wear, I saw this one and I remembered how much I liked it so I decided to wear it. 😉 It’s one of those days I don’t have to wear shoes! 😀

The other thing I wanted to include in this post is a cleaning hack\stain removal I learned this week. My sister got a new (pink) skirt recently and I forgot to wash it separately so pink dye got on not everything but a few things like one of my favorite dressy tops, my brother’s white t-shirts, and my other brother’s church pants. oh and they also went though the dryer which usually sets a stain!
Obviously I wasn’t happy, I mean common that’s one of my favorite tops! I went online and Googled my problem, the first thing I found was something saying I should buy this “wonder” product, I’m a “take action now while I’m thinking about it” kinda girl so I kept looking. There was pretty much only one other thing I tried to and it didn’t work…. So I grabbed a bowl filled it with hot water, added some vinegar and soaked my shirt really well and wrung it out. I did this three times and I could see the dye coming out. I then simply hung it on the clothes line and waited to see if all the dye had come out and it had! I did the same thing for my brothers stuff and it worked as well.
So yeah if that ever happens to you at least try doing that.
This Sunday was pretty great! My outfit was super comfortable which is always a plus. 😉 My mom told me twice how much she liked my outfit 😀 and I must say I’m defiantly going to wear this again because I loved it.
I love it when I can just be looking though my closet, see a certain skirt, and be like “oh, that will look awesome with this shirt”. Has that ever happened to you?
Pro tip: If you get earrings from Thrift Stores and you’re worried about germs or diseases, let them sit for a few hours in a bowl of vinegar. I do this all the time because my ears weren’t completely healed (I just recently got them pierced) and I got some cute earrings from the Thrift Store but I was worried about getting an infection.

I’m going to try to post more regularly, but these days my schedule is all over the place so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to. L
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in over a week and I don’t even have a good excuse… anyway I just wanted to tell you guys a little more about my vacation and show you a couple things I got. Also I’ve gotten quite a few things from Thrift Stores so I might do a haul later.
The trip to where we were going took five days but only because we stopped at some friends first. When we were at are friends house their daughter took us kayaking and introduced us to two new TV shows, Doc and also MacGyver. I liked MacGyver a lot better and I hope we can buy it soon.
When we got there we stayed with some very good friends of ours and we had a blast! We went to this huge Mall with them and one of my best friends got me this-
They also introduced me to a new chocolate bar (Three Musketeers), it was soooo rich so I couldn’t eat the entire thing. 😛
They also me roped into a playing a videogame and it was actually pretty fun (don’t worry it was a pretty old one so there were NO bad graphics). We went Thrift Store shopping too and I was able to get some nice stuff (that I will show you when I do my haul post).
On our way back home we stopped at a souvenir shop and I got this-
Then when we were going though Sudbury my dad said whoever spotted the Big Nickel first got a prize, I spotted it! 😀 So this is what he let me get at the Gift Shop-
Eek! I’m so excited! I mean how awesome is it that it’s the 150th birthday of Canada and I will live to remember it?
Anyway today was amazing, we are at some other friends house right now and they (and us of course) celebrated by having a cookout. Their entire church was invited plus some of their friends, so I was able to make some new friends! Of course it started raining so we had to go inside but it was still fun. They played a game too (it lasted basically the duration of the party), everyone had a clothes-pin and you weren’t supposed to say the word “like”! It was so fun I lost my clothes-pin pretty soon but I had fun trying to trick others into saying it. 😛
Here’s my sister’s post aboutCanada Day, it’s pretty awesome!
Okay so here’s what I wore. I wanted to wear something different but, like an idiot :P, I forgot it! 😦
The pics are kinda bad quality because my six-year-old brother took them ’cause everyone else was to tired!
I’m sorry I’m late posting this but I’ve been really busy. This Sunday we went to a church in The Pas (pronounced- the paw) and the message was great! After the morning service they had a kids service which I stayed to help with, it was a good experience.
After that was over the pastors youngest daughter took me and my older sister and brothers (also my younger sister) Kayaking!! It was so. so. soooo fun!
But now on to my outfit!
Whenever I pack I always forget at least one thing and this time it was a nice blazer to wear to church, fortunately my brother lent me his black cardigan which was better then anything I had.
Sweater- Borrowed from my big bro!
Jewelry- Hand-me-down from my older sister
I think that’s everything I wanted to put in this post so bye for now!
I’m just popping on to post what I wore on the first day of my vacation. I was able to quickly snap a pick of it so here it is!
This pic was taken around 7:30 but we had to leave the house at 5:30! It was a good first day even if I was in the car most of it. 😛 There was some super great scenery (I wish I had gotten some pictures 😦 ).
