Today I am having another one of my amazing friends on here to share one of her favorite outfits and her thoughts on modesty.
Hi everyone! My name is Rebekah. I am a Christian girl who wants to strive to be more like Jesus! I believe the way we dress is just one of the ways we can honor God. Modesty is important because the world cannot see our hearts, but they can see that we want to glorify God with the clothes we choose to wear. I would like to thank Elisabeth Shonhaar for the opportunity to share my thoughts on what modesty means to me! The outfit I am wearing is (in my opinion) perfect for spring, and a great casual outfit! The bell-sleeved blouse is floral, which always screams spring to me! I also love wearing ankle boots in the spring because of the unpredictable spring weather, and I think ankle boots are super cute year-long ! I enjoyed getting to do this!

Aww, thank you so much Rebekah for wanting to come on my blog and be a part of it. I’m so glad we were able to do this! If anyone else would like to do this send me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can talk!
Happy May everyone!! I hope you had a great April. Chat with me in the comments and tell me if you have any summer plans I’d also love to hear from you guys what you think of this new series! 🙂
(I’ve never wanted this blog to be about just me. It’s first and foremost about God and modesty. So I’ve asked an amazing friend of mine to guest post here! She was kind enough to say yes, so here’s a very cute outfit of her’s and her thoughts on modesty! And I know this outfit isn’t super springy or anything but believe it or not where I live it’s still pretty cold. Really as I speak it’s snowing. So if you live in a climate similar to mine this outfit is for you! )
Hey! My name is Elisabeth(Yes she and I have the same name.)! I’m a Missionary’s Daughter to Canada from the USA, and I’m a Sinner saved by HIS Grace! I dress modestly not because I have to, but because I want to honor God in all that I do! That includes the way I dress.

Anyway thanks for reading.)
Have a great day! Also comment below what you think of this new series.
This is just a super short post today. The outfit is one I would wear every day if I could! It’s just really comfortable and warm which is a most for me in the winter. 🙂
Shirt (\Hoodie)- Walmart
Skirt- Thrift Store
Boots- Giant Tiger
So that’s pretty much it. Like I said, super short post but wanted to share it with y’all because it’s very “me”. I love the color dark green and I love denim skirts so I wear this outfit quite a bit. If you want to see how I switch it up so it doesn’t look the exact same every time I wear it, I’ll do a post about that.
What’s your favorite kind of outfit and do you like boots? I like these but overall they aren’t really “my thing”.
This post should actually be called “crazy past few weeks”! 😛 But I felt that was too long. My family started school in late August (we can do that because we homeschool), just to get a bit of a head-start this year. So adjusting to the new schedule is partly why I haven’t posted in a while (sorry about that). And yeah, one of my sisters recently had a birthday. Things have generally been crazy these past few days.
Anyway, here’s the outfit I wore the other day.
I love this simple look. I have quite a few gray tops so I’m pretty much always wearing a gray tee and denim skirt these days 😀
Yesterday I was out at a mall with my family and I found a great sale on maxi skirts (10$ for one) so I bought a couple and here’s one.
This one is my favorite of the two, the other one is just black and gray. I really wanted to get a colorful one because I have to many gray and black things… so I got this one which still has gray in it but pink stripes is better then say white or black! 🙂
I love this skirt so much! I like having pieces of clothes that can provide a pop of color to my outfit! It can be anything from a skirt, to a necklace. Just something to turn a boring outfit into a less boring outfit. 😀
My “choker” is actually a silver chain I had and I just put it to fit around my neck like a choker. Have you ever done anything like that?
Shirt- Thrift Store
Skirt- I can not for the life of me remember the name of the store.
Well, I can never think of a “cool” way to end my posts so….
Nothing really special happened today except I finally remembered to take pictures of my outfit for a post. 😀
I was looking though my closet wondering what skirt to wear, I saw this one and I remembered how much I liked it so I decided to wear it. 😉 It’s one of those days I don’t have to wear shoes! 😀
Cami- Dollar Store
Skirt- Thrift Store
Necklaces- Gift\Thrift Store
The other thing I wanted to include in this post is a cleaning hack\stain removal I learned this week. My sister got a new (pink) skirt recently and I forgot to wash it separately so pink dye got on not everything but a few things like one of my favorite dressy tops, my brother’s white t-shirts, and my other brother’s church pants. oh and they also went though the dryer which usually sets a stain!
Obviously I wasn’t happy, I mean common that’s one of my favorite tops! I went online and Googled my problem, the first thing I found was something saying I should buy this “wonder” product, I’m a “take action now while I’m thinking about it” kinda girl so I kept looking. There was pretty much only one other thing I tried to and it didn’t work…. So I grabbed a bowl filled it with hot water, added some vinegar and soaked my shirt really well and wrung it out. I did this three times and I could see the dye coming out. I then simply hung it on the clothes line and waited to see if all the dye had come out and it had! I did the same thing for my brothers stuff and it worked as well.
So yeah if that ever happens to you at least try doing that.
Eek! I’m so excited! I mean how awesome is it that it’s the 150th birthday of Canada and I will live to remember it?
Anyway today was amazing, we are at some other friends house right now and they (and us of course) celebrated by having a cookout. Their entire church was invited plus some of their friends, so I was able to make some new friends! Of course it started raining so we had to go inside but it was still fun. They played a game too (it lasted basically the duration of the party), everyone had a clothes-pin and you weren’t supposed to say the word “like”! It was so fun I lost my clothes-pin pretty soon but I had fun trying to trick others into saying it. 😛
Here’s my sister’s post aboutCanada Day, it’s pretty awesome!
Okay so here’s what I wore. I wanted to wear something different but, like an idiot :P, I forgot it! 😦
The pics are kinda bad quality because my six-year-old brother took them ’cause everyone else was to tired!
I’m just popping on to post what I wore on the first day of my vacation. I was able to quickly snap a pick of it so here it is!
This pic was taken around 7:30 but we had to leave the house at 5:30! It was a good first day even if I was in the car most of it. 😛 There was some super great scenery (I wish I had gotten some pictures 😦 ).
